cousins outing

am relishing the post-narnia feeling. it was an awesome movie. (: well, had the once in a blue moon luxury of getting up after 11 this morning, headed to town in the late afternoon to meet my three lovely cousins. dined at sakae before going to cine for our evening show. haha to think i was initially hesitant to catch narnia, turned out i was totally captivated throughout the movie and loved every bit of it. simply excellent. supper at macs afterwards, the babes had cravings for choc sundae. haha it was a great bonding session i'd say.
this post-christmas week, a tinge of longing for work lingers in the air. it had been an experience of a lifetime. the friendships forged, is sth i'd never regret. my NEL-cum-bus 88 mate, heart-to-heart mate and delivery mate (whom i spent a scary 100 over hrs with), they've taught me alot. haha in different ways of their own. i'll never forget the crowded fun at the sorting room. kinda nostalgic, recalling how the sorting room started out with boxes and boxes of goodies until christmas drew nearer and the goodies dwindled as hampers after hampers are packed. and witnessing how the delishop started out with empty shelves, plain walls to become a cosy shop with christmassy atmosphere. i will have to stop missing ppl i tell you. quit this whole looking back thing. i'm thinking and thinking and thinking and i think i shd put an end to it. getting carried away triggers this bittersweet feeling. similar to that of revisiting certain places such as the sickening r****** c***. no that's not an expletive. darn i ought to initiate this 'say no to thinking' campaign or sth before this thing eats me up. even having sweetened coffee is no longer a simple affair affair of pure indulgence. alright enough is enough.
so with chinese new year round the corner, the familiar tunes are back. two thousand and six is days away, CNY is a month away.
i wish for a nice run back at sn track.
/the lion, the witch and the wardrobe. take me there
